Yogi tea is very good for you as it contains ginger, the healing root. Great for when you feel run down, or just to keep your immune system and digestive system working as it should. You can make a huge batch of yogi tea and keep it for a few days – warm a cup up each day to have in the morning!
Bring a gallon of water to the boil. Add 30 cloves, 30 whole green cardamom pods, 30 whole black peppercorns, 1 large finger of fresh ginger thinly sliced, 5 cinnmamon sticks.
Boil for 45 minutes. Serve! (the original recipe calls for black tea to be added at this point, but I don’t use this as I’m caffeine free)
Add milk + honey/agave to taste to each cup you make.
