It can be difficult to find time to practice.

Sometimes it’s because we are telling ourselves we don’t have time. Sometimes it’s because we are so tight on time we don’t know how to be creative with our practice.

The truth is, there is always time for yoga. Yoga means union. There is always time for some kind of practice, as the shortest practice can take only a few seconds.

This year I am practicing my kundalini yoga set as regularly as I can. This tends to mean getting up between 5 and 6am to fit it in before the day starts. I don’t manage this every day. Some evenings I go to bed too late, and don’t want to get up that early as I know it will be very challenging or just not allow me enough sleep. I don’t beat myself up about it. I just do yoga in a different way on that day. I listen to mantra music while I walk. When I’m very tight on time, I close my eyes and take 3 simple, deep breaths. I inhale SAT and exhale NAM. & then I carry on with my day.

There is always time for yoga.
